Founded in 1928 by Roy and Helen Jones, for three generations Jones Funeral Home has served Coffey County and surrounding areas. In 1991 Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center was purchased at the retirement of R. Dale Campbell. Don and Glenda Jones operated Jones Funeral Home in Burlington for many years until Don's death on September 12, 2002. Glenda Jones died on December 23, 2019, following 60 years of active service to the funeral home. Chris Jones retired in 2021 following more than 40 years of service. Dave and Cynthia Miller faithfully managed Campbell Funeral Home for 19 years until their retirement. Lane and Cindy Jones and staff operate Jones Funeral Home in Burlington and Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center.
