Wendy Carol Bogue, 65, of Burlington, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at home.

Wendy was born January 16, 1956 in Kansas City, Kansas to Bill and Dorothy (Yost) Ryherd. She grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1974.

On January 18, 1974, she married Tom Bogue in Mission, Kansas. They became the parents of three children. They were later divorced.

Wendy worked as a secretary in Kansas City before moving to Burlington in 1992. She worked various jobs around town, then worked for many years as a secretary for Farthing Chiropractic, before retiring.

Wendy's greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.

Wendy is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Jenna Bogue.

She is survived by her son, Jasen Bogue and Hattie Orlando of Grand Lake, OK; daughter, Jennifer Alexander and husband Brad of Burlington; grandchildren, Avery Alexander, Dylan Orlando-Bogue, and Noah Orlando-Bogue; a large extended family and many friends.

Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington. The family will meet with friends at 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
