Vivian Mae Eccles, 86, Gridley, died at the Life Care Center in Burlington, on May 27, 2020.

Vivian was born on July 1, 1933, at LeRoy to Robert and Eva Lena Perdue Wright.

On October 6, 1951, she married Glen Irvin Eccles in Burlington. They were the parents of six children. Glen died on December 27, 2013.

Vivian was a member of the Gridley United Methodist Church and the Gridley Book Club. She loved to sing and play the piano and organ.

Vivian was also preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, her daughter, Mary Ann Wiley, 2 brothers, Herbert and Lloyd Wright, and 3 sisters, Charlotte Rohr, Bessie Steel, and Wannetta Bland-Rinearson.

She is survived by her children, Glenda Bogle, Osage City, Denise (Dave) Kirkby, Fritch, TX, John Eccles, Emporia, and Gail Trembley, Manhattan, 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Vivian will lie in state on Sunday, May 31, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited and will be allowed into the funeral home in controlled numbers.

A private (family only) Graveside Service will be on Monday, June 1, 2020.
