Victoria "Vicki" Jeanine Lawrence passed away on March 2, 2023. Vicki was born on March 22, 1949, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Walter and Alta Burge. She grew up with three sisters, Eva, Sandra, and Marilyn and two brothers, Jerry and Tom. Vicki took the name of Vicki Lawrence after she eloped and married Larry K. Lawrence on April 1, 1966. They raised three children, Michelle, Larry, and Jody, and they remained married until Larry's death in 2011.

Vicki was known for being strong-willed and was not afraid to speak her mind whether it was about religion, politics or even if the sun was going to shine on a given day. She was never afraid to face a challenge, and when the time came for her to take on working full-time to make sure the family was financially cared for as well as being a mother, she did so with courage and conviction. However, for those outside the family, she was best known for her love of music and her talent as a musician and amazing singer.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, brother Tom, her husband, and her son Larry. Vicki is survived by her daughter and son-in-law - Michelle and Ron Young, her son Jody Lawrence, adopted daughters - Kathi Evans and Brenda Holloway, six grandchildren - Hannah Quiroga, Sarah Lewis, Courtnie Velazquez, , Krystal Young, Robert Lawrence, Trinity Lawrence, two great-granddaughters - Adrian Cranor and Tristan Young, two great-great granddaughters - Emerie and Everlie, three sisters - Eva, Sandra and Marilyn, and her brother, Jerry. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
