Valerie Theresa Milton, 65, of Burlington, Kansas, passed away July 20, 2022, at her home. She was born July 30, 1956, at Phoenix, AZ, the daughter of Melvin Ray and Sallie (Brown) Chapman.

On August 10, 1974, she and Edward Charles Milton were married in Denver, CO.

Valerie had been employed as a CNA and managed a gas station.

Her husband, Edward, preceded her in death on March 14, 2019.

She is survived by her daughter, Katrina Burbridge and husband Clifford of Burlington, KS; her son, Shane Milton and wife Juanita of Denver, CO; 6 grandchildren; two sisters, Sandy Patrick and Laurie Hamilton; a brother, David Chapman, II; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 5, 2022, at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington.
