Trenna O. Watts, 80, of Yates Center, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Yates Center Health and Rehab.

She was born September 16, 1937, near Quincy, in Greenwood County, Kansas. She was the daughter of Olin and Hattie Beatrice "Bea" (Louk) Puckett. Trenna spent her childhood in the Quincy area and graduated from Quincy High School in 1955.

On June 12, 1955, she and Alva L. "Pete" Watts were married at Quincy. They became the parents of four children. The lived in the Hamilton area for five years, east of Virgil for thirty years and moved to Yates Center in 1989. In earlier years she was a saleswoman for Avon, Fuller Brush, and Watkins. In Yates Center she was a partner in This and That Craft Store in downtown Yates Center and later operated her own business, Trenna's Crafts, out of her home. She and Pete worked together making all kinds of craft items. They also made jelly. The sold their products at craft fairs for twenty years. They had sent their products all over the world.

Trenna was a member of the Turkey Creek United Methodist Church. She had also been an active member of the Royal Neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lloyd Puckett; and a sister, Phyllis Barton.

She leaves Pete, her husband of more than 63 years; her son, Alan Watts and wife Janet of Overland Park, KS; her daughters, Teresa Young and husband Tom of Lansing, KS, Joy Redding and husband Michael of Gridley, KS, and Jody Owens and husband Scott, of Yates Center; eight grandchildren, Randall Watts, Michelle Huwe (Jason), Clay and Trevor Young, Brandon Redding (Kelly), Jessica Davis (Jared), Kyle Owens (Maggie), and Bryson Owens; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Janice Robb (Robert) of Ft. Scott, KS; a brother, Victor Puckett (Barbara) of Huntsville, AL; a number of nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center. Burial will follow in Quincy Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
