Thomas T. Paxson, 74, Burlington, died on July 5, 2018, at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Tom was born on July 29, 1943, in Wichita, to Merle "Timer" and Lois Hartpence Paxson.

Tom grew up in Burlington and graduated from Burlington High School in 1961.

During his life, he had managed a restaurant, a grocery store, and a motel.

On June 1, 1963, he married Judith Ann Isch, in Madison.

Tom is survived by his wife, Judith, of the home; his daughter, Julie Clair and her husband, Kelly, Burlington, his son, Jeff Paxson and his wife Rebekah, Omaha, NE., a sister, Sherry Bemis, Burlington, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

No services are planned at this time. Inurnment will take place a later date in Graceland Cemetery.
