Teri Lynn Herrera, 52, of rural Burlington, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.  Medical professionals found, albeit too late, Teri suffered from and succumbed to coronary artery disease.

Teri was born September 20, 1972, in Burlington, the daughter of Jerry Lee and Sharon Ann (Patterson) Berry. She grew up in LeRoy, Kansas and attended LeRoy Public Schools.

As teens she and Donnie Loveall were married at the Jerry and Sharon Berry family home in LeRoy. Together they established a family of 5, including sons Michael, Zachary, and Hunter. They later divorced.

On December 29, 2014, Teri and Edgar Alexander Herrera were married in Miami, Oklahoma. They, along with Michael, Zachary, and Hunter welcomed the birth of two children, Destani and Ethan.

Teri was a homemaker, caring for her family and home most often.  While she found joy in being a homemaker she very much loved interacting with people.  She especially enjoyed the time she spent working for Coffey County senior citizens with Burlington Meals on Wheels.

In passing Teri leaves her husband, Edgar; her children, Michael Loveall of LeRoy, Zachary Loveall (Morgan) in Twin City, Georgia, Hunter Loveall (Reina Hetzel), Destani Herrera, and Ethan Herrera, all of Garnett, Kansas.  She leaves her loving mother, Sharon Berry of LeRoy; grandchildren, Ellie Mae Loveall, Lydia, Everleigh, Charlotte, Zachary, and Jameson Loveall, Elijah Hetzel, Brantley and Paisley Loveall; her siblings, Michael Berry (Diana), Thayer, Kansas, Dale Berry (Regina), Lebo, Kansas, Jodi Testa (Randy) Junction City, Kansas, Tami McCullough (Matt) in LeRoy, and Jeri VanHorn, (Dave) of LeRoy; and many greatly loved nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Cremation will take place. A celebration of Teri's life will take place on Saturday, October 12 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leroy Community Building.
