Stephanie Marie Howard, 40, of Burlington, Kansas, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019, at her home.

She was born January 19, 1979, in Emporia, Kansas. Her parents were Johnny L. and Linda (Buck) Johnson.

Stephanie grew up in Emporia, graduated from Emporia High School and attended Flint Hills Technical School.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Howard, of the home; her children, Rebecca Howard, Emporia, and John Howard, Burlington; her mother, Linda Johnson, Emporia; siblings, Sara King, Emporia, Bobbie Dubois, Topeka, Dallas Johnson, Tennessee, and Shon Rome, Oklahoma; her father-in-law, Dan Williamson, Burlington; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Johnson, and her mother-in-law, Gwen Williamson.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M. Friday, February 15, 2019, at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington. Cremation will follow services.

The family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
