Shirley Ann (Milliron) Campbell, a long time resident of Eureka, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at the Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka. She was 89 years old.

Shirley was born May 7, 1929, in Buffalo, Kansas, the daughter of Ura Landrith Milliron and Orville Milliron. She attended Buffalo High School, graduating in 1947. On May 9, 1948, she was united in marriage to Francis H. Campbell during a ceremony in Buffalo, KS. They would remain together until his death on September 5, 2015. They resided Yates Center while Francis worked with his father and brother. In 1949, they moved to Toronto, KS, where they opened and operated the Campbell Furniture Store and Funeral Home until 1962. In 1962, they purchased the funeral home in Eureka, Kansas, and operated Campbell Funeral Home until Francis retired in 1990.

Shirley was an active member of the community, belonging to and participating in various clubs and organizations. She was an active member of the Christian Congregational Church. Granny, as she was lovingly known to family and friends, cherished the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, Bonnie Williams and husband Joe, Topeka, KS, Nancy McKenzie and husband Jay, Eureka, KS, and Jeff Campbell and wife Debbie, Pittsboro, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Josh and Adam Williams, Jacob and Kathleen McKenzie, and Anna (Lee) Meyer; a great-grandson, Campbell Williams; her brother-in-law, R. Dale Campbell, Yates Center; numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister; and her grandsons, Isaac Williams and Ryan Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at the Christian Congregational Church in Eureka. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka.

The family will meet with friends from 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until funeral time at the church.
