Sharon Lee Minor, 76, of Yates Center, Kansas, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at the Allen County Hospital in Iola.

She was born August 30, 1945, in Burlington, KS, the daughter of Lee and Velda (Giffin) Russell. She graduated from Burlington High School and then earned a Bachelors Degree in Education from Pittsburg State University. She was employed as a social worker for the State of Kansas for 43 years until retiring on June 11, 2011.

On August 12, 1979, she and Theodore C. "Ted" Minor were married at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Yates Center.

Her husband, Ted, preceded her in death on August 5, 2021.

She leaves her son, Kelly Minor and wife Callie of Neosho Falls, KS; two grandchildren, Tyler Minor of Nevada, MO, and Rydlee Minor of Neosho Falls.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 1, 2021, at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery at Burlington.

The family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Campbell Funeral Home.
