Sandy Marie Gholson, 48, of New Strawn, KS, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025, at her home.

She was a beloved wife, mother, and her favorite title...Grandma.

Sandy enjoyed traveling with her husband, taking new adventures, and most of all, she loved spoiling her grandchildren.  She was the heart and soul of our family and she will be missed beyond measure.

Sandy is preceded in death by her mother, Gail Younie.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 24 years, Mack Gholson of New Strawn; daughter, Dariann Jones (Josh) of New Strawn; sons, Bryce Harden of Burlington, Logan Gholson (Mercedes) of Omaha, NE, and Zane Gholson (Shelley) of Chesterfield, MO; father, Chris Younie of Burlington; sisters, Dawn Schroder (Eddie) and Wendy Gutierrez (Juan); brothers, William Younie and Dylan Younie (Vikki).  She also leaves behind her beautiful grandchildren; Zoey, Jettsyn, Dutton, Bentley, Ryder, Jamisyn, and Victor.  She leaves behind so many relatives and friends as to know her was to love her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington, Kansas.
