Sandra Jo Garrett, 63, Burlington, died on December 6, 2020, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Sandra was born on September 14, 1957, in Chanute to Merle G. and Elizabeth Mae Danford Smith.

She moved with her family from western Kansas to Burlington in 1973. She graduated from Burlington High School in 1976. She went to the Flint Hills Technical College in Emporia. She worked as a L.P.N. for many years. She was a member of the Burlington Christian Church.

On June 22, 1974, she married Gerald L. Garrett at the Christian Church in Burlington.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Eric, two granddaughters, Hope and Faith, and her brother, Gary Smith.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Gerald of the home, two sons, James "J.J." and Adam Garrett of Burlington, three sisters, Karla (Ron) Smith Brown, Ozawkie, Robin (Robert) Acree, Granbury, TX, and Linda (Michael) Mattox, Auburn, NE, two grandchildren, Jaden Riley and Tryston Garrett, other relatives and friends.

Private family funeral services will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington, KS.

Public graveside services will be held at approximately 3::00 P.M.  at Graceland Cemetery.

There will be a come-and-go visitation from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
