Sandra Elaine Franklin, 54, of Yates Center, KS, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022. In a car accident.

Sandy was born February 15, 1968, in Fort Scott, KS. The daughter of Everett G. and Sarah F. (Matlock) Franklin. She was a lifelong resident of Yates Center, and she was a member of House of Praise Community Church in Burlington, KS.

She married Wayne Wiley in 1993 and became the parents of two boys, they later divorced.  She married Craig Campbell and later divorced.

Sandy worked her whole life in health care, she loved taking care of people. She was a very outgoing person she enjoyed her job as a CNA and Med Aide.  Recently she was employed at the lifecare center in Burlington and helping her dad and two boys run the family farm. She loved spending time with her two sons and 6 grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother Sarah F. (Matlock) Franklin and her brother Alan L. Franklin.

She leaves her father Everett G. Franklin, her sons Tony and wife Heather Wiley and 4 Grandchildren, Rural Yates Center, Ben Wily and wife Sarah and 2 grandchildren. One sister Jackie Kuron and husband Eric, Yates Center, KS, 2 nephews: Chris Kuron and wife Brooke, James Kuron and partner Sarina Powellson. Several great nieces and nephews, as well as many other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 21, at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center, KS. The funeral will be held at 12:00, Friday July 22, at Campbell Funeral Home, Burial will follow at Yates Center Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to attend dinner at First Baptist Church, following the burial, Located at 409 E. Madison, Yates Center.
