Rosann E. Osborn, 75, of Waverly, Kansas passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020.

She was born March 10, 1945 in Ottawa, KS, the daughter of John and Marie (Michael) Robbins. She graduated from Waverly High School in 1963 where she was the Drum Majorette for four years.

On December 8, 1963, she and Galen L. James were married in Waverly, where they made their home until Galen's death on September 1, 1986. They had three children, Sherie, Kyle and Crystal.

On June 8, 1991, Rosann and Terry Osborn were married in Topeka, KS. They made their home south of Waverly and enjoyed nearly 30 years of marriage.

Rosann worked at Berico for several years and then at Wolf Creek Generating Station for 16 years. Rosie then operated Rosie's Daycare for 20+ years before retiring in 2014.

Rosann was active in the community, taking special interest in anything involving children. She was a member of the Waverly Homemakers Club for over 40 years, was past President of the Waverly Booster Club and enjoyed playing Mrs. Santa at Christmas time. She had a love for traveling and camping with family and friends.

Rosann was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Bailey Kistner and a brother John Robbins, Jr.

Rosann is survived by her husband, Terry; her children, Sherie (Chad) Baldwin of Topeka, KS, Kyle (Kim) James of Maumelle, AR and Crystal (Derek) Kistner of Waverly, KS; six grandchildren, Destiny (Tyler) Arb, Kelsey (Blake) Singleton, Morgan (Matt) Purvis, Kory James, Dalton Kistner and Mason James; four great-grandchildren, Gunner Arb, Kolton and Kinslee Singleton and Wrenley Purvis; her brother Dennis Robbins of Waverly and many other relatives and friends.

Private family funeral services will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 at JonesFuneral Home in Burlington, KS.

Public graveside services will be held at approximately 12:00 Noon at Waverly Cemetery.

There will be a come-and-go visitation from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
