Ronald Veryl Enabnit, 85, of Yates Center, Kansas, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Yates Center Health and Rehab.

Ron was born in Iowa on April 15, 1934 to Carol and Ida May (Huntbatch) Enabnit.

Ron will be remembered for his smile, laughter, story-telling, and orneriness.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters; his son, Merlin; son-in-law Bill Stapleton and grandson in-law George Cook.

Ron is survived by his wife of 66 years, Patricia; four children, Melissa and husband Terry Griffith of Amarillo, Texas, Melvin and wife Diana Enabnit of Great Bend, Kansas, Melinda Stapleton of Girard, Kansas, Marcia and husband Wes Showalter of Carterville, Missouri, and a daughter-in-law, Roxann Enabnit. Other survivors include 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been chosen and inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to help the family with final expenses, and may be sent in care of Campbell Funeral Home, PO Box 188, Yates Center, KS 66783.
