Roderick Roland Dolsky

​Roderick Roland Dolsky, 92, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

​He was born March 26, 1934, in Burlington, Kansas, the son of Charles E. and Erma A. (Malek) Dolsky. He graduated from Burlington High School and went on to earn his degree from the University of Kansas.

​Rod spent his career in real estate and education, but he defined his life by his favorite pastimes and the family he adored. A true enthusiast at heart, he could often be found scouring shops and sales for unique antique finds, casting a line on quiet fishing trips, or enjoying an afternoon on the fairways. Above all, family was his greatest pride. He treasured every gathering and took immense joy in watching his family grow, keeping up with his children and grandchildren.

​He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Erma, and his brother, Jerry.

​He is lovingly remembered and survived by his children, daughter Lori Unruh, and son Ronald Dolsky with Sarah; his grandchildren, Lauren Holthus with Justin, and Audrey Unruh; his great-granddaughter, Macy; his former spouse, Elaine; his sister, Camille; his sister-in-law, Dorothy;  and extended family and lifelong friends.

​He will be greatly missed by his family and those who knew him.

​Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Calvary Cemetery in Burlington, Kansas. Arrangements are under the care of Jones Funeral Home in Burlington.
