Bob moved to Kansas to help build Wolf Creek in 1977 and later became employed by the Coffey County road and bridge crew until his retirement. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gambling.

He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Curtis Brewer Sr., his mother, Ethel Elizabeth Hill Brewer, 2 brothers, Daniel Curtis Brewer Jr. and Richard Wayne Brewer, 2 sisters, Linda Brewer and Dollie J. Byrd Rogers, and his son, Robert (Robbie) Floyd Brewer Jr.

He is survived by his daughter Cheryl West (Larry) of Burlington, Kansas, granddaughters Candace Clements (Zack) and Dacey Telfer (Daniel), four great-grandchildren (Gavin, Addison, Cade and Carter Clements), three step great-grandchildren (Keegan, Allissa, Brody Telfer), sisters Judy Martin (John), Helen Walker and several nieces, nephews and extended family (Sandra Rickabaugh, Angella Glasgow and Trevor, Lisa Rickabaugh and Brayden). He will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Robert Brewer memorial for a park bench in the Gridley Park and may be sent in care of Jones Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Burlington, KS 66839.

Visitation will take place December 7th From 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Jones Funeral Home Funeral. Funeral Service will take place December 8th at 10:00 A.M. At Jones Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gridley Cemetery in Gridley, Kansas.
