Robert James "Bob" Narloch, 74, of Yates Center, Kansas, passed away Saturday morning, June 16, 2018, at his home.

He was born January 8, 1944, in Mecosta, Michigan, the son of Joseph and Elva (Richardson) Narloch. He grew up in Mecosta and graduated from high school there. He then served in the United States Navy for four years. While in the Navy he became acquainted with Edith Nell Williams. They were married on August 21, 1964, in her home town of Fort Scott, Kansas.

Following Bob's discharge from the Navy he and Edith moved to Fort Scott. They moved to Yates Center in 1969 and Bob was employed by Black Jack Cattle Company for a number of years and later worked in the oil fields.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Donald, Richard, and Jerry Narloch; and a sister, Barbara Watson.

Bob  leaves Edith, his wife of more than 53 years of the home in Yates Center; his son, Bob Narloch and spouse Michael of Deptford, New Jersey; his daughter, Kathy Lehr and husband Michael of Overland Park, Kansas; three grandchildren who he loved to spend time with and entertain, Sabrina Long, and Jillian and Nolan Lehr; two sisters, Helen Dubridge of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and JoAnn Sherman of Belding, Michigan.; a number of nieces and  nephews; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center. Burial will follow in Yates Center Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
