Richard Mark Stumbaugh, 60, of Burlington, Kansas, and St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018.

Richard was born May 8, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Charles William and Peggy Ann (Dixon) Stumbaugh.

He served in the United States Navy from 1983 until 1987. He worked in the nuclear industry and was retired from Wolf Creek Generating Station at Burlington.

On December 8, 1990, he and Susan Marie Trower were married in Montgomery City, Missouri.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Christine Stumbaugh.

He leaves his wife, Susan; his children, Jeremy Stumbaugh, St. Charles, MO, Kristina Felts (Kyle), New Strawn, KS, Kimberly Van Patten, Burlington; Kyle Stumbaugh, St. Charles, MO, Megan Birk (Darrin), Burlington, Brandon Stumbaugh (Melissa), Wentzville, MO, Lacey Bober (Brandon), Burlington, and Bret Stumbaugh (Sydney), Lemoore, CA; twelve grandchildren, Kye, Brody, Molly, Koby, Caiden, Odon, Landon, Alexa, Brigham, Charles, Coralynn, and Mara; five brothers, Charles "Mike" Stumbaugh (Susan), Eugene, MO, Patrick Stumbaugh (Janet), and James Stumbaugh (Paula Gruber), of Montgomery City, MO, Timothy Stumbaugh (Michelle), Holts Summit, MO, and Thomas Stumbaugh, Sedalia, MO; a sister, Sharon Busken (Gerard), Montgomery City, MO; a number of nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington, Kansas, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 28, 2018, to remember Richard.
