Renee Ladean Jones, 61, of Toronto, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024.

Renee was born January 23, 1962, in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of Earnest Ray Herring and Lanetta (Clayton) Sanderson.

She graduated from Mcloud High School in Oklahoma. She had a great love of horses, which she later spent 10 years working for the Kansas Quarter Horse Racing Association at the track in Eureka with her husband Steve. Renée and Stephen Jones were married on July 7, 1983, in Alabama. They have been married for 40 beautiful years.

She also enjoyed her time working in the Woodson County Clerk's Office as Deputy Clerk prior to her passing.

Renee had a great love for her garden and flowers, as well as a great love for her church, as she was very strong in her faith.

Renee Was preceded in death by Her father Ray Herring and sister Gail Huston.

Renee is survived by her husband Stephen, Mother Lanetta (Clayton) Sanderson, Children; Joshua Jones, Stephanie Hall, Son-in-law Colt Hall, Coltin Jones, and Casey Jones. Grandchildren; Sarah Jones, Autry Jones, Alexis Mead, Marcus Mead, Violet Williams, and a grandson on the way. She has many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Toronto Cowboy Church in Toronto, KS.
