Raymond Lewis Snovelle, 76, of Burlington, Kansas, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the Life Care Center in Burlington.

He was born April 24, 1945, at El Paso, TX, the son of William and Dorothy (Crane) Snovelle. The family moved to Gridley, KS, when he was young, and he graduated from Gridley High School. He had worked in farming and in the oil fields.

On June 1, 1965, Raymond and Alice June Hoskins were married at Burlington. Alice preceded him in death on May 23, 2017. He was also preceded by his parents; his son, Jason Snovelle; two brothers, William E. Snovelle and James Snovelle; and a granddaughter, Kayla Beachy.

He leaves his children, Jerry Snovelle (Terry Odom), Burlington, Justin Snovelle, Wichita, and Shawn Miller (Jon), Cimarron, KS; 9 grandchildren; three sisters, Laura Harris, Hamilton, KS, Sally Black, Burlington, KS, and Sheila rich, Gridley, KS; a brother, Rodney Snovelle, Goddard, KS; numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington. The family will meet with friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
