Patsy Louise Sarchet died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at Wesley Medical Center, in Wichita. She was 76.

She was born Patsy Oneslager to Ellis Sr. and Kathrine Oneslager, in Wichita, April 18, 1942. She attended school in Wichita.

She married Donald Buchanan Sr. May 17, 1958, in Wichita. They resided in Missouri and owned gas stations in Cassville, Seligman and around Kansas City, MO, and a construction company, Buchanan Construction, in Goodman, MO. She later worked at Fasco and EaglePicher. To this union three children were born, Donald Jr. "Buk", Bobby Sr. "Bo", and Kimberly. Donald preceded her in death Sept. 29, 1980, and she returned to Wichita.

She married Loyd Sarchet Oct. 14, 1983, in Wichita. To this union one child was born, Scott Sarchet. She worked at Cessna Aircraft and then retired from Boeing Aircraft, after making two field trips to New York, she then moved to Yates Center. While in Yates Center she worked for Tiny Tots Daycare, Carder's Philmart and was currently employed at The Yates Center NEWS. Loyd preceded her in death Nov. 9, 2003.

She was a loving mother and friend to many. She loved spending time with her family, especially at Christmas, playing cards, going camping, fishing, on float trips, or just visiting for hours. She also loved to travel, making trips to Mexico, Canada, and every state except Hawaii. In her early years she worked on and drove race cars at 81 Speedway, in Wichita. She always had a house full of either her children, grandchildren, her siblings, nieces, nephews, or a host of others she helped raise.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Don Buchanan and Loyd Sarchet; her oldest son, Buk Buchanan; a grandson, Skylar Blackwell; brothers, Ellis Oneslager Jr. and Terry Oneslager; sister Joyce Mullins; and her parents.

She is survived by her sons Bo Buchanan and wife Jodie, of Jennings, OK, Scott Sarchet and wife Grace, of Yates Center; daughter Kim Ralstin and husband Cliff, of Yates Center; daughter-in-law Bev Buchanan, of Marshall, AR; grandchildren, Mark and Michelle Buchanan and family, John and Jenny Buchanan and family, Cody and Desiree Buchanan and family, Bobby Buchanan Jr. and family, Travis and wife Christene Buchanan and family, Clint and wife Brandi Rollings and family, LaKeisha Pawlik and family, Trisheena Rollings, Angelique Sarchet, Devereaux Sarchet, TeAnna Hamilton, Kayla and husband Cody Taylor and family, and Caitlin Ralstin; a brother David Oneslager, of Eureka; and two sisters, Wilma Knowles, of Piedmont and Wanda Wright and husband Sam, of Utah.

The family will meet with friends at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at Campbell Funeral Home, 310 W. Rutledge, in Yates Center. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 at Owsley Union Cemetery, in Bethpage, MO.
