Patricia Ellen "Trixy" Thompson, 74, died Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Neosho Memorial Medical Center in Chanute.

She was born May 15, 1952, at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Darrel and Catherine (Ujvari) Graf. Following her graduation from High School Trixy joined the United States Navy serving 12 years as a Hospital Corpsman (HM2). She was stationed on the USS Independence. She traveled all over the world while in the Navy.

While in the Navy she became acquainted with a Marine, Michael Stephen Thompson, and they were married in 1991 in San Diego, CA. They became the parents of a daughter, Tiffany.

Trixy had a career as a nurse after her Naval Career. She worked at a hospital in Libertyville, IL. She also earned an Associate Degree from Junior College.

She and Michael had made their home in Yates Center since the early 2000's.

She and Michael were members of Grace Lutheran Church in Iola, KS. She was also a member of Post #13, American Legion in Yates Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gary Graf.

She leaves her husband, Michael; her daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany N. (Timothy) Spencer of Creswell, OR; 6 grandchildren, Trinity, Tobias, Thomas, Tilmann, Thea, Truly; her sisters-in-law, Susan Graf, of Brillion, WI; Laura Matinez, of Yates Center, KS and Glen Thompson, Marlene Ortega, and Michelle Abad, all of Denver, CO; many other relatives and friends.

Private family graveside services will be held at Yates Center Cemetery.
