Nelda Faye Beyer, 84, Gridley, died on February 24, 2019, at the Sunset Manor in Waverly.

Nelda was born on September 1, 1934, at Gridley, to Albert and Goldie McNish Henry.

Nelda grew up at Gridley and graduated from Gridley High School. During her life she had been a Clerk-Typist for the Topeka Capital, Secretary for Gridley High School and the F.S.A. She also did painting and refurnishing, and finally worked for R.E. French. She was a member of the Gridley United Methodist Church, the U.M.W. and the Harmony E.H.U.

Nelda married Marion F. Beyer, on October 12, 1952, at the Gridley United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Dale Henry.

Nelda is survived by her daughter, Denise Eccles and her husband Art, her son, Kevin Beyer and his wife Melanie, both of Gridley, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, February 28, 2019, at the Gridley United Methodist Church. The family will meet with friends on Wednesday, 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gridley Cemetery.
