Nancy Pollman, 65, a long-time resident of the Yates Center, KS area, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 of natural causes in her home.

Nancy Louise (Splechter) Pollman was born October 29, 1954 to Frank and Norma Splechter in Neodesha, Kansas.  She attended grade school in Fredonia, KS and graduated from Yates Center High School in 1973.

Nancy met the love of her life, Roger Eugene Pollman, in high school and they were united in marriage April 26, 1973.  They were set to celebrate their 47 ^th wedding anniversary this month.  Together they had three children Shawn, Sherry and Seresa.

Nancy was a loving stay-at-home mom for several years.  She worked as a seamstress at Jostens/Artex (Yates Center) prior to working at Tramec (Iola) for twenty-two years, retiring in October 2019.  Nancy spent many years being actively involved in 4-H including being a leader.

Nancy Pollman enjoyed spending her time outdoors.  This included sharing her green thumb talents through gardening and flowers.  She enjoyed spending time with Roger going to auctions, antiquing, hunting and fishing.  Nancy enjoyed every minute spent with her grandkids and great-grandkids.  Family was most important to Nancy.

Survivors include her husband, Roger; children, Shawn Eugene (Michelle) Pollman of St. Paul, KS, Sherry Renee (Luther) Hamman of Wamego, KS, Seresa Louise (Matthew) Howe of Emporia, KS.  Grandchildren include Jerrod (Kylie) Norton, Shawlisa (Jesse) John, Hunter Pollman, Kendra Hamman, Karlie Hamman, Ryane Howe, Grady Howe, and Gavin Hamman.  Great-grandchildren include Camdon Norton, Kaiden Norton and Hadley John.

Additional survivors include sisters; Fran Young, Susan Hensley, brothers; Earl Splechter, Ronnie Splechter, Stacy Splechter, and Joe Splechter.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Norma Splechter, her in-laws, Marvin and Helen Pollman and siblings; Linda Ashenfelter, Ruth Tate, and Chuck Splechter.

Private family graveside services will be held at Buffalo Cemetery in Buffalo, Kansas, due to the Covid-19 situation.
