Alice Nadine Kraft, age 93, of Gridley, Kansas, passed away at her home July 22, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born August 4, 1931, to Leo Donohoe and Blanch (Dalby) Donohoe in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Nadine attended Halls Summit Grade School and in 1949 graduated from Burlington High School. She worked for a time at McKrea Telephone Co. as a switchboard operator in Burlington.

On October 22, 1949, she was united in marriage to Lloyd F. Kraft at Eureka, Kansas. They enjoyed 70 years together before the passing of her husband. She enjoyed her nine years as a school cook in Gridley after moving to town. Nadine was a member of the Apostolic Christian Faith.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd in February 2020, and their son Brian in November 1973.

She is survived by four sons and three daughters. Douglas (Judy) Kraft, Gridley, Susan (Bill) Emch, Madison, James (Kathy) Kraft, Gridley, Barbara (Tim) Zimmerman, Madison, Mary Anliker, Gridley, Richard (Marianne) Kraft, Salem, Oregon, and Dale (Barb) Kraft, Hutchinson, Kansas; 18 grandchildren; one step grandson; 41 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandsons. Also surviving are her siblings, Leona Williams, Cabot, Arkansas, David (Georgia) Donohoe, Livingston, Texas, and Janice (Danny) King, Loveland, Colorado; a brother-in-law Sam (Mary Ann) Kraft, Emporia; and a sister-in-law, Faye Kraft, Gridley.

Nadine's loving kindness will be cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 28, 2025, at Jones Funeral Home, 801 Garrettson St., Burlington, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Gridley Apostolic Christian Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Jones Funeral home.
