Nadine Louise Graham, 80, of Burlington, Kansas, passed away on Saturday night, June 20, 2020, at St. Francis Medical Center in Topeka, Kansas, after a brief illness.

Nadine was born October 17, 1939, at Coffeyville, Kansas, the daughter of James and Fairy (Collins) Ferguson. She grew up in various locations in eastern Kansas and graduated from Fredonia High School in Fredonia, KS. She served in the United States Navy for 3 years.

She moved to Burlington in 1977 and was employed as an electrician for Daniel's International during the construction of the Wolf Creek Generating Station. She then was the Medical Records Director at the Golden Age Lodge, now Life Care Center, in Burlington for a number of years. Before retiring she was the office nurse for Dr. Donald Braun at the Coffey County Medical Center. She worked as an LPN for over 30 years.

On June 5, 1982, Nadine and Justin "Jud" Graham were married in Burlington. They were happily married for 27 years until Jud's death on May 1, 2009.

Nadine was a member of the Burlington Christian Church and was a volunteer at the Coffey County Hospital and God's Storehouse.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Ferguson of Neodesha, KS, Melissa Sterne and husband Brandon of Concrete, WA, and Angela Trimble and husband Randy of Burlington; grandchildren, Francine Rosario, Robert Cefarelli, Russhelle Sands, Philip Cranor, Ashley Cringan, Craver Blakemore, Taylor Sterne, Brennan Brown, and Walker and Kennedy Trimble; 9 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Ferguson of Lees Summit, MO, and James Ferguson, Jr, Lone Jack, MO; a sister, Emilee Hall, Bay City, MI; many other relatives and friends.

The most important things to Nadine was her relationship with God and her family. She loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She stated many times her greatest accomplishment was her family.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, June 26, 2020, at the Burlington Christian Church. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery east of Burlington.

The family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington.

On June 22, 2020, Gov. Kelly recommended staying in Phase Three of the "Ad Astra: A Plan to Reopen Kansas" for another two weeks.
