Myrtle A. (McKinsey) Costello, 86, of Wichita, KS, passed away Sunday evening, September 27, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Myrtle was born May 10, 1934, in Rose, Kansas, the daughter of George Dale and Jessie M. (Evans) McKinsey. She graduated from Yates Center Kansas High School in 1952. She attended Butler County Community College and Wichita State University. She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 30 years working and St. Joseph Hospital and Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

On June 18, 1961, she and Charles T. Costello were married at the First Christian Church in Yates Center. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Dale and Ronald "Pete" McKinsey.

She leaves nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held at Buffalo Cemetery at Buffalo, Kansas.
