Mary Margaret Sele, 73, longtime resident of Toronto, Kansas, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Yates Center Health & Rehab in Yates Center, Kansas.

She was born August 21, 1947, in Eureka, Kansas, the daughter of Henry Floyd and Jeanette (Webb) Swilley. She graduated from Toronto High School and studied business at Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia.

She was married to Gordon "Cap" Shaw and Randall Sele. Both marriages ended in divorce.

Mary had suffered from MS for many years which kept her from doing many of the things she enjoyed doing. She did love cats and watching Football, Basketball, and Golf on TV. She disliked chickens and snakes. She enjoyed playing the piano and was very good at it.

She will be missed by her son, Scotty Shaw of Toronto; her four grandchildren, Derek, Alex, Shelby, and Chance Shaw; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Myoan McJunkin of Emporia, Kansas; two nieces; two nephews; other relatives and friends.

Cremation is planned. The family is planning a memorial for later this year.
