Marie Lynn (Stanley) Linick, born on September 7, 1952, in Burlington, Kansas, passed away on October 31, 2023, in Emporia, Kansas. She was 71 years old. Her family lived in Melvern, Kansas until 1965 when they moved to Burlington, Kansas. She graduated from Burlington High School in 1970. Marie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She wed Richard Linick on July 11, 1981.

Marie is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Linick, her loving daughters, Rachael Linick, Burlington, Kansas, and Raymona Folsom (Mark), Ottawa, Kansas, and her cherished grandson, Trey Folsom, Ottawa, Kansas. She is also survived by her sister, Luvenia Bowen (Darrel), Burlington, Kansas.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Anna Cleo Stanley.

Marie dedicated her entire career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), providing compassionate care to those in need. Her selflessness and dedication made a lasting impact on the lives of many.

Marie found solace and spiritual fulfillment at the First Baptist Church in Burlington, Kansas, where she worshipped. She played the piano at church for many years and had a deep love for gospel music.

There will be a visitation on November 17, 2023, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1104 N 4th Street in Burlington, Kansas. A celebration of life service is planned for November 18, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Burlington, Kansas. Memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church in Burlington, Kansas.

Marie Lynn Linick will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kind heart, unwavering faith, and dedication to her family will be remembered and cherished forever.
