Marc Alan Brown, 24, of Burlington Kansas died unexpectedly on Thursday July 11, 2019 in Topeka Ks.

Marc was born on April 22, 1995 in Burlington Kansas to Ronald and Moriah Brown. He spent the majority of his life calling Burlington home and graduated from Burlington High School in 2013. On January 19, 2017 Marc and Katlyn George welcomed their son Justin Alan Brown into the world. He was an avid outdoors man and greatly enjoyed any opportunity to go fishing or play a game of basketball. He loved and was loved by many, but he held a special connection with his nieces and nephews. Marc's greatest joy was any opportunity to be surrounded by his friends and family; especially when a bonfire could be involved. Being a father to his son Justin was Marc's proudest title of all.

Marc is survived by his son, Justin Brown, Burlington; mother, Moriah Brown, Burlington; father and loving step-mom, Ronald and Karla Brown, Ozawkie; maternal grandparents, Venice Hunter, Burlington, Chip Hunter, Kansas City, and Bruce Trebbe, Oklahoma; paternal grandfather, Ronald D Brown, Texas; siblings, Dylan Pankaskie (Renee), Gridley; Jacob Brown, Burlington; Alea Stubblefield (Brandon), California; Aaron Smith (Stephanie), Wellsville; Justin Smith, Jacobs Creek; Kristen Berry, Wellsville; Robin Fogel (David), Kentucky; and Amanda Woods, Emporia. Proud uncle of Kendall, Katherine, Gentry, Jillian, Amelia, Jackson, Gemma, Brogan, and Lochlan. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Phyllis Mowry; cousin, Dylan Spradlin; and aunt, Stephanie Conn.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Tuesday, July 16, at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington. The funeral will also be held at Jones Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 17.
