Lynda Lee Coffman, 75, of Burlington, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at her home.

She was born November 22, 1947, at Emporia, KS, the daughter of William R. and Sharon Lea (Ziegler) Hogan. She spent her childhood in Burlington and graduated from Burlington High School in 1965. She served in the U.S. Navy. She attended Newman School of Nursing in Emporia. Later, she earned her degree as a Registered Nurse at South Oklahoma City College graduating in 1982. She was a nurse in Oklahoma City and Wichita before returning to Burlington where she was a nurse at the Coffey County Hospital and the Golden Age Lodge. She was active in various Masonic organizations including being Past Worthy Matron of White Rose Chapter #297, Order of the Eastern Star at Gridley, KS, and current Worthy President of the Social Order of the Beauceant in Topeka, KS.

She was preceded in death by parents, William Hogan and Sharon Gaede, and her sister, Vicki McDaniel.

She leaves her brothers Robert Hogan (Sharon) and Thomas Hogan of Burlington, and a nephew, James Hogan of Burlington.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Graceland Cemetery at Burlington.

The family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington.
