Lucinda Lee "Cindy" Bell, 69, of Burlington, KS, passed away Thursday morning, July 18, 2024, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.

Cindy was born April 9, 1955, at Newark, NY, the daughter of John Owen Miller, Jr., and Betty (Tilly) Miller. She was working as an EMT at Kingman, KS, when she met Albert Willis Bell. They were married on August 19, 1977, at Kingman. They later lived in Durango, CO, where Cindy was a Phlebotomist and a Unit Secretary at Mercy hospital. They moved to Burlington, Albert's hometown, in 2015.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John Miller and Terry Miller and his wife Chris; and her father and mother in-law, Ray Willis and Armenta Bell.

She leaves Albert, her husband of nearly 47 years; her son, Kenny Bell, Burlington; step-children, Keith (MaryAnn) Bell, Broken Arrow, OK, Shawn Rene' Norman, Milton Park, OK, and Ray W. (Lisa) Bell, Woodbury MN; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Gina Sparks, Sodus, NY; her Uncle's Keith E. Bell, Hoyt, KS and Jimmy Miller, Marion, NY; a nephew, Jesse (Megan) Vanliew; a brother-in-law, Dale (Linda) Bell, Emporia, KS; many close cousin's other relatives and friends.

Cindy loved anything outdoors, being in the mountains, camping and fishing and just enjoying nature and the animals. She loved to watch her hummingbirds. Her passion was baking. She could often be found in the kitchen preparing one of her delicious treats for her many family members and friends.

As per Cindy's request cremation is planned with no services.
