Louis Paul Herman Meyer, 91, of LeRoy, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Louis was born near Aliceville, Kansas on the family farm on June 27, 1932, to Louis and Minna (Nolte) Meyer.

Louis married the love of his life, Maydene "Betty" Anschutz, at Zion Lutheran Church in Latimer, Kansas on October 25, 1959.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Minna Meyer, his siblings, Walter Meyer, Herbert Meyer, Lorine Schmidtke, Alfred Meyer, Mabel Stohs, and Dorothy Landsverk.

Louis leaves his wife, Betty Meyer, his two children, William (Terri) Meyer and Greg (Dana) Meyer, and his grandchildren, Cassandra Meyer, Jacqueline Meyer, Andrew Meyer, Justin (Lauren) Meyer, Kaitlin (Levi) Saueressig, Braden (Connie) Meyer, Dylan (Olivia) Meyer, Wesley Meyer, Aiyonna Meyer, Quinton Meyer, as well as 9 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Jones Funeral Home from 6pm-8pm.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the St John Lutheran Church in Aliceville, Kansas, at 10am.
