Lorna Ann Stohs, 88, Baldwin City, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 6, 2021.

Lorna was born January 14, 1933 in rural Westphalia, KS, the daughter of William H. and Marie (Luker) Becker. On August 27, 1950, she was married to Edgar G. Stohs at St John Lutheran Church, Aliceville, of which she was a lifelong member. Edgar passed away November 13, 1983.

Lorna worked many years in health care, starting with the Golden Age Lodge in Burlington and ending her career with the Coffey County Health Department.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, Charlie Parkerson; five brothers, and six sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Dean Stohs, LeRoy, and Gary (Kristine) Stohs, LeRoy; two daughters, Lynn Parkerson, Grimes, Iowa, and Kristine (Fred) Schaap, Bella Vista, Arkansas. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at St. John Lutheran Church in Aliceville. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington.
