January 6, 2021, Lori Ann Kemper, age 60, of Toronto, KS, went to be with the Lord.

In many ways Lori Kemper's life was like a fairy tale. Her story starts out somewhat dark and sad. She overcomes obstacles, builds strength and character and then she meets her prince and all her dreams come true.

Lori's childhood and early life was a series of painful events and losses that worked to shape her into a strong, formidable and remarkable woman. Lori longed for a loving home and family. When she was a teenager, she began to build one. She married and had 2 children. After a few years that life and family fell apart and she found herself alone again, longing to feel like she belonged, and with arms that ached to hold her children, she persevered and despite her setbacks, worked hard to make it alone in the world until she met her prince.

Lori and Lloyd were specially designed by God to be each other's perfect match. Lori's marriage to Lloyd Kemper gave her everything she longed for: a home, a sense of belonging, and family. She gained an exceptionally large loving family, a close extended family, and a heart full of children.

Lori loved her life with Lloyd and the people in it. Lori's life became her dream come true, one filled with countless adventures, lots of laughter and endless love. Her legacy lives on in the people she loved, and the memories made with them.

Loris is survived by her best friend and husband of 35 years, Lloyd Kemper, her children: Donia, Laura, Billy, Chris, Dana, Justin, and Jennifer. Lori was blessed with several grandchildren: Aligha, Dar, Logan, Mason, William, Austin, Justice, Jazmine, Dameon, Harmony, Nathanial, Christian, Brianna, Gracie, JonMarc, Dean, and two great-grandchildren. Lori will also be missed by several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
