Lloyd Francis Kraft, age 91, of Gridley, Kansas, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2020, at his home. He was born on March 10, 1928, on the family farm northwest of Gridley to Sam and Esther (Esslinger) Kraft.

Lloyd graduated from Gridley High School in 1946. Following graduation, he began farming, raising cattle, had a welding shop, and later erected Butler buildings.

Lloyd married Alice Nadine Donohoe of Burlington, Kansas, on October 22, 1949, at Eureka, Kansas. They recently celebrated their 70 ^th wedding anniversary. Lloyd became a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in 1950 where he served as minister for several years. In later years he was a member of the Apostolic Christian Faith.

He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. He was preceded in death by their son, Brian Lynn, on November 9, 1974, after a battle with cancer. He was also preceded in death by his parents and five siblings: Glenn Kraft, Richard Kraft, Virginia Morrison, Harold Kraft, and John Kraft.

Survivors include his wife, Nadine, of the home; seven children, Douglas (Judy) Kraft of Gridley, Susan (Bill) Emch of Madison, James (Kathy) Kraft of Gridley, Barbara (Tim) Zimmerman of Madison, Mary Anliker of Gridley, Richard (Marianne) Kraft of Salem, Oregon, and Dale (Barb) Kraft of Hutchinson, Kansas; 18 grandchildren; one step-grandson; 35 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandsons; a brother, Sam (Mary Ann) Kraft of Emporia; and a sister-in-law, Faye Kraft or Gridley.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Jones Funeral Home, 801 Garrettson St., Burlington. Burial will follow in the Gridley Apostolic Christian Cemetery northwest of Gridley.

Lloyd will lie in state and the family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, March 2, 2020, at Jones Funeral Home.
