Larry Wayne Anderson, 70, of Burlington, Kansas, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021, at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa Arizona.  Larry was born January 1, 1951 in Burlington, the son of Kenneth and Marie McGlothlin Anderson.

Larry graduated from Burlington High School in 1969. He proudly served in the Kansas National Guard from 1970 through 1977.  He worked for Caldwell Implement for nearly 13 years before going to work at Wolf Creek as an I & C Technician in 1986 and retiring in 2011.  Larry always loved farming. He worked the farm with his Dad and many local farmers in his youth, helped his son with his cattle and hay season, then worked for friends during planting and harvesting seasons.

Larry enjoyed retirement and being outside.  He loved boating, fishing and hunting. He so enjoyed teaching his kids and grandkids to ski and throwing them around on the tube. Larry enjoyed his mornings at the donut shop, getting caught up on all the news from around town over coffee.

He was married to Carol Noonan in 1971. They were later divorced, but remained friends as they raised their children.  He married Terri Danford Fraker on November 23, 1996.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Marie and his in-laws, Frank & Betsy Danford.

He is survived by his wife Terri, son Terry Anderson (Kim Micek), daughters Traci Anderson (Chris Larkin) all of Burlington, Stephanie Templin, Melissa TX and Christine Fraker (Colton Walton) also of Burlington.  Grandchildren Kenzi Anderson, Morgan Townsdin (Eric), Madi Smedra, Ty & Brody Anderson, McKenna, Katelyn and Isabelle Templin.  Great grandchildren Kenlee, Sophia, Haidyn, Maggie and Tatum. Brother Dennis (Norma) Copan OK, niece Dene' Fitzsimmons (Timothy) and great nieces Andrea and Elizabeth, Wann OK.   Uncles Gary (Connie) McGlothlin, Wichita KS and Virgil (Helen) Anderson Auburn, KS, cousins and many many friends.

A Come and Go Visitation will be Wednesday, February 24 from 1 – 3 pm. Private family funeral services will immediately follow the visitation. Larry's wishes were to be cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
