Kenneth Wayne Davis was born on Jan. 19, 1962, at Severy, KS. He left this world on Sept. 15, 2023, in Waverly, KS, with his family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Alice and JD Poston and grandparents, Wilbur and Catherine Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Davis; his children, Emily Latsch (Jennifer), Brandy Davis, and Diamone Sipe (Travis); siblings, Michelle Burkett (Dewayne), Cathy Kelly (Jimmy), and David Poston (Evonne); grandchildren, Shyanne Yukawa, Emmarie Sipe, and Noah Spurgeon.

Kenny was a man of immense strength from the time he was a young boy up until the moment of his last breath. During his grueling battle with cancer not only did he not complain, but he brought levity and laughter to everyone around him. Kenny was kind, he was generous, and he had the incredible ability to find the positivity and the light no matter the situation. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten, by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington, KS. The family will meet with friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday at Twin Grove Cemetery at Severy, KS.
