June Marie Perry, 73, of Burlington, Kansas, passed away at her home on Sunday, May 3, 2020.

June was born on April 9, 1947 in Independence, MO, to Dean and Dolores (Nulph) Braby. She was the oldest of four children.

June grew up in Evansdale, IA, and graduated from high school there in 1965. She married Gary Elmore and they lived and worked in Leon, IA. They were later divorced. She married Joseph Perry in December, 1970, and they moved to Burlington in 1971, where they had two sons, Micheal and Jason. They were later divorced. June worked at Iowa Beef Packing Plant in Emporia for 38 years. After her retirement, she loved to watch Westerns on television.

June was preceded in death by her parents.

June is survived by her sons, Micheal (Becky) Perry Sr., and Jason Perry; grandchildren, Micheal Perry Jr., Shelby Perry, Cody Perry, Miranda Long, and Wesley Fosset; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren;  brothers, Jim (Julie) Braby and Marty (Theresa) Braby; sister, Juanita (Ron) Stormer; half-sister, Jeanette Braby; many other relatives and friends.

Cremation is planned. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
