Judith E. Williams, age 82, of Topeka, passed away on January 2, 2023, at 8:00 AM in

Burlington, KS. She passed away due to complications from Alzheimer's Disease.

Judy was born on a farm in Woodson County near Yates Center at the home of her

parents, Harry R. Jasper, and Violet M. (Lewis) in spring of 1940. On the farm, Judy

enjoyed raising her Holsteins as a 4-H member, riding her horses, Sugar, and Prince,

to and from school. She graduated from the District 69 one-room schoolhouse at the

end of eighth grade when she and her parents moved into town (Burlington). Judy

graduated from Burlington High School in 1958.

After attending Emporia State for one year, she worked in Kansas City and married

Ronald D. Williams in 1960. As a couple, they lived in Fort Walton Beach, where

their first child, Jeffrey P., was born. They also lived in Wichita, Kansas, where their

second child, Rhonda K., was born. With Boeing, the family moved out to Everett,

Washington and Judy earned her associates degree at Everett Community College.

In the 1970's, Judy moved back to Kansas and worked for Blakely Crop Hail

Insurance until her retirement in 2003. She earned her CPCU certification and

retired as a vice-president of personnel. She enjoyed many rounds of golf, and

dancing with her friends. She looked forward to time with family, including her

aunts and uncles and many cousins.

In addition to her children, Jeff and Rhonda (Thomas Borchert), she is survived by

three grandchildren of Waltham, VT: Jasper, Kai and Jing Williams. She is also

survived by many friends, including Sally and Brandon Henry, Susan Cochran, and

others from Blakely Crop Hail Insurance.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 8, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home, Burlington, Ks. The Funeral Service will be held at Jones Funeral Home, January 9, 2023, at 1:00 Pm. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
