Jimmy Ray Tidwell, 71, Garnett, died at Guest House Estates in Garnett, on May 27, 2018.

Jimmy was born on August 16, 1946, in Hardtner, KS.

Jimmy was retired from the United States Army after a 25 year career. He served 2 tours during the Vietnam War and was posted at various places around the world. After retirement, he worked in security.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Gladys Jones Tidwell.

Jimmy is survived by his sister, Jackie Rolf and her husband Walter, of LeRoy, other relatives and friends.

Inurnment will take place in the Fort Logan Cemetery, in Denver, CO.
