Jeffrey Todd Chete, 56, of Burlington, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, December 5th, 2019 at Life Care Center.

Todd was born on December 13, 1962 in St. Petersburg, Florida, the son of Arthur and Bonnie Chete. He grew up in Florida and graduated from Central Florida College of Ocala. He then earned his degree in Health Physics from Arkansas Tech University. Todd lived in Florida, Arkansas, and Connecticut before moving to Kansas in 2010. On February 28, 2004, he married Kayrn Geuser in Middle Haddam, Connecticut.

Todd enjoyed traveling, music, local bands, and picnics with his family. He helped with the clean-up process in Kuwait after Desert Storm. The beach was Todd's retreat and refuge, and he loved to sit and listen to the waves. He also loved going to church and visiting with his many church family and friends.

Todd was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Kayrn, of the home, sons Justin Chete of Ocala, Florida, and Tyler Chete of Burlington; his mother, Bonnie Chete, a sister Kim Chete, both of Ocala, Florida.

Other survivors who were especially close to Todd are his grandmother-in-law Faye Jackson of Burlington; mother-in-law Barbara Jackson of Gridley; father- and mother-in-law David and Doreen Geuser and brother-in-law David Geuser, Jr., niece- and nephew-in-law Kaitlen and Alex Geuser, all of Connecticut; many other family and friends who will miss his words of encouragement as well as his life full of inspiration.

As to his wishes, Todd will be cremated. The family will hold a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 14 ^th at 3:00 PM at Radiant Life Church in New Strawn, Kansas. All are welcome.
