Jeanie (Tice) Friend passed away on December 8, 2018, following an automobile accident in Queen Creek, AZ.

She was born in Emporia, KS, to Hazel and L.O. Tice on June 10, 1953.

Jeanie married Steve Friend on April 9, 1982 at Burlington.

Jeanie was preceded by her parents, a brother, Lloyd, Jr and his wife Barbara, and a brother in law, Red Walling.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Steve; four sons and their families, Richard, Shannon, Caity, Payton, and Cameron Friend, Chris, Laci, Carter,Cade, and Ella Friend, Evan, Jamie, Kayden, Kaylee, and Reagan Friend, and Brett, Amy, and Logan Friend; two brothers and one sister, Don and Darlene Tice, Larry and Marjie Tice, and Mary Walling; a host of nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.

Her kids, grandkids, and dogs were the joys of her life. She will be sorely missed.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 22, 2018, at the Burlington Christian Church.

The family will meet with friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church.
