Jack Loyde Clay was born on January 13th, 1957 at Olathe Medical Center. He passed June 3rd, 2024 in Burlington, Kansas.
Jack grew up in Desoto, Kansas with his mother, father, four brothers, and five sisters. He was loving and caring. Jack loved to go fishing with his children, grandchildren, friends, especially long time friend Mark Stean, and family. He would always talk about his fishing stories.
Jack's favorite drinks were coffee and Diet coke. You would never catch him without one or the other in his hand. Jack loved to be around his family, he loved playing and cuddling with his grandchildren while watching the many westerns he could find.
He is preceded in death by his father Henry T. Clay, mother Ivah Mea (Dean,) sisters Sandra Clay, Leona Sharlene (Clay) Snovelle, twin sister Janet Lou Clay, brothers Jim Clay, Henry (Gene) Eugene Clay, brother in law Leroy Sallaz, and sister in law Minda
Sue (McDaniels) Clay.
He is survived by his three children Brian Clay and Marvin Clay (Kerri Gillette), and Sara (James) Talley, step children Elizabeth Stottlemire (Joseph Smith), Joseph Ward, 16 grandchildren; Serena, Georgia, Dalton, Taven, Joseph (Joe Joe), Cheyenne, Dez, Kamron, Nate, Miranda, Colton, Peyton, Ella, Michael, Khloe, and Ashlynn, his 2 sisters and 2 bothers, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other family and friends.
We all loved him so much and he will be missed dearly.
