Helen Marie Brown Bartlett, 93, died October 19, 2026, at Parkview Heights Nursing Home in Garnett. Helen was born October 17, 1933, in Hays, the eldest child of Loid EC and Beulah May (Burnett) Brown. She graduated from Waverly High School in 1951. Helen married Curtis S. Bartlett on April 17, 1952. Together they shared 47 years of marriage and 5 children. He died December 13, 2009.

Helen will be remembered by her daughters, Kathy (Ron) Myers, Carolyn (John) Lacey, Marilyn Noonan, Mary Beth (John) Freerksen; son, Ron (Dawn) Bartlett; sister, Delores Beck, Lela Bungart; brother, Lloyd (Sharon) Brown; 10 grandchildren, Jason, Eric, Dennis, Justin, Matt, Megan, Chris, Sarah, Adam, Liz. 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loid and Beulah Brown; husband, Curtis; sisters, Bernice, Carol; brothers-in-law, Eran Beck, Ron Hardin; son-in-law, Tom Noonan; granddaughter, Kandace Desch.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2026, at Jones Funeral Home, Burlington. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 9:30 until service time.
