Harold Gene Mannschreck, 81, LeRoy, died at the Allen County Hospital on August 9, 2018.

Harold was born on the home place at LeRoy, on December 26, 1936, to Lee and Edna Geisy Mannschreck.

Harold grew up in LeRoy and graduated from LeRoy High School in 1955.

On February 10, 1957, he married Norma Yoho, in LeRoy.

They made their home east of LeRoy, where Harold farmed. He always took pride in the upkeep of his farm and home. He was a lifelong member of the LeRoy Assembly of God Church and served as a deacon. For six years, he served on the LeRoy Co-op board and was a Coffey County Soil Conservation Award recipient in 1999. He also served on the Spring Creek Township board. In earlier years, he enjoyed tractor pulls, restoring tractors, and helping neighbors with various projects. He loved watching his children and his grandchildren at all of their church, school, and sport activities.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Randall Gene Mannschreck, and two sisters, Beatrice Mannschreck and Betty McKinney.

Harold is survived by his wife, Norma, of the home, his daughters, Debbie Applegate and her husband, Jay, and Karen Deal and her husband, Clinton, both of LeRoy, four grandchildren, Nolan and Tyler Applegate, Hillary Lott, and Kalyn Deal, four great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Services are 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 13, 2018, at the Assembly of God, LeRoy. The family will receive friends, Sunday evening, from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
