Harold Eugene Crooks, 78, Waverly, died at his home, Friday, August 5, 2022.

Harold was born on December 3, 1943, at Virgil, Kansas to Stokes and Dorothy (Smith) Crooks.

On May 27, 1962, he married Lydian Owen, in Burlington.

Harold Worked at a young age at the ranch in Silkville. Later he owned his own construction company, CC&L of 17 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lydian of the home, his children, Ricky and Kelly Crooks both of Waverly, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren with one on the way, his sisters, Brenda Walker of Ottawa and Jaron Muzeau of Fort Lauderdale, His brothers, Dickie Crooks of Ottawa and Russell Crooks of Wellsville, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00, Friday, August 12, at Jones Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 13, at Jones Funeral Home, Burial will follow at Waverly Cemetery.
