Geraldene Town, 89, of Yates Center, Kansas, passed away Monday night, July 29, 2019, at Yates Center Health and Rehab.

She and Robert "Bob" Town were married on May 28, 1948. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2002. She was also preceded by her daughter, Mary Lynn Town, in 1963.

Geraldene was a member of the Yates Center United Methodist Church and the Woodson County Historical Society. She had been the curator for the Woodson County Historical Museum and had taught music lessons in her home.

She leaves her son, Robert Lee Town, of Yates Center.

Cremation is planned. No services are scheduled. Inurnment will be in Yates Center Cemetery beside her husband.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
